In-Home Support Waiver
Individuals and families select services necessary for each individual to remain in his or her own home. Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDSD) case managers are assigned to assist these individuals in locating, securing, and coordinating needed services.
There are two types of waivers: IHSW-Children for eligible children ages 3-17 and IHSW-Adult for eligible adults 18+ years of age. These waivers are provided through agencies contracting with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority and are not cash payment programs.
Community Waiver
Services provided from 3 years of age to end of life for individuals for whom the IHSW is not sufficient to meet their needs. A plan of care is developed annually for each individual receiving services through the Community Waiver. The individual's team assesses the needs of the individual and develops a plan to address those needs. The Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) case manager is responsible for providing support and monitoring the implementation of the plan. At its core, the team consists of the individual, his or her legal guardian or advocate and the DDS case manager. Prior authorization is required for all services provided.
HUD Housing
The Department of Housing and Urban Development provides decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. Searchlight Center, Inc. operates 40 HUD units all located in Hobart.
Assisted Living Center
Opened in 2018, Woodland Gardens is a new, 34-unit assisted living facility for qualified individuals age 55 and older. Woodland Gardens also accepts Medicaid as a form of payment, the only assisted living in SW OK to do such. For more information visit www.woodlandgardensal.com or call 580-752-4445.

Laundry
Searchlight has laundry contracts with area hospitals providing linen cleaning. We also are proud to introduce 9th Street Laundry, which provides laundry services to the Hobart comunity. Check out the new website www.9thstreetlaundry.com to learn more!
DOT Litter Crew
Searchlight has partenered with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to provide litter pick-up crews multiple times a month to service the area spanning from Erik, Oklahoma to the I-40 intersection.
Searchlight Thrift Store
Located at 216 W. 4th St. in Hobart, Ok, the thrift store is open from Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM. It provides the community with affordable, quality goods as well as providing Searchlight clients with job opportunities. Call the Thrift Store at 580-752-4043 for more information.
